Adobe Photoshop for Cartographers and Mapmaking: Quick Selection Tool

Rate this post

This video shows you how to use the Quick Selection Tool to select and extract very detailed objects from photo images. This tool can be used to extract a fighter jet, for example, from a photo of a jet flying over mountains. The jet can then be placed over a map in Adobe Illustrator to make it look like it is flying over the map. Creating a transparent background is also discussed.
