Drainage Shape Classification in the Pamplona Zone, SE Alaska
Modelbuilder is applied to semi-automate the generation of a stream and ridge network using high resolution bathymetric data. Here I discuss how I use the stream and ridge network to select drainage profiles. I also employ the use of a power fitting function to classify profile shapes and discuss possible interpretations of common profile shapes. Finally I present an interpolated map representing the distribution of drainage profile shape throughout the Pamplona Zone, SE Alaska.
