We know the importance of google earth and its high resolution imagery of any area. Sometimes we like to use this imagery to create updated vector data.

In this tutorial, you will see an efficient way for the creation of vector layers like to digitize vector data directly in google earth, import them in QGIS, and save them finally as Shapefiles.

Using this method, you can create vector layers for many kind of data like roads, places, rivers, water-body , settlements..etc
The example data digitized in this tutorial are buildings as polygons, streets as lines and stocks as points.
